The site’s development evolves around an existing synagogue and it’s located in the central part of Brno. The main task of this design was to introduce the Jewish community center, Jewish activities and traditions to the public, moreover educate the public on this topic and provide attractive outdoor and indoor spaces that would draw people to this site naturally. Another aim was to make the administration of the community center potentially financially self-sustainable, supported by other public businesses on the site.
The building volumes are designed with a very raw sculptural feel. Concrete is used as the main construction material to achieve this sculptural character and is also dominant on the facades of the buildings.

The housing development is variable, the basic house unit can be adapted to the needs of the tenants, growing gradually as the family gets bigger. The construction consists of universal wooden modules 3 x 6 x 3 meters. These units can be prefabricated and easily put together on-site with negligible time and costs.
